I don't know about you but every time my kid gets a gift, for example a new toy, if it doesn't have to do with facts he can go over and over again or Legos, he quickly loses interest and they usually sit somewhere in his closet.
He has, however, found a few items recently that have managed to keep his interest for a while. So I thought I would share them just in case anyone else is looking for some other options.
Jenga Blocks XL
I have literally seen adults play with these in a toy store. So, you know, here is an option for the whole family to join in. Jenga Blocks are always fun for kids, but there is something about them being Giant that is way more appealing.
Bonus, it comes with it's own bag so clean up is easy.
I got Safe Breaker for my son for his birthday and he has played with it for HOURS. I think it's a combination of the numbers involved along with the mystery. YULU has a variety of toys around the same premise you can check out here. My son liked it so much he wants to collect all of them. Another bonus, he can play with his friends.
If you are looking for something that is more mentally stimulating and can grow and change with your kid, than subscription boxes, mainly from the Kiwi Co, is the way to go.
Now there are a ton of subscription boxes for kids out there, however, I like the Kiwi Co (and have talked about them several times on this site) mainly because their boxes are geared towards specific interests and specific age ranges.
Honestly, they are the only company that I have seen do this. I also buy it because of the variety they provide and because I know my child will learn something by using it.
So there you have it, three awesome brain stimulating toys to keep your kids interested. They are also great for kids of all ages.
